Cactus Plant Flea Market, the enigmatic streetwear label known for its playful approach to design, is set to continue its partnership with Nike. Following last year’s Grinch-inspired Nike Air Flea and the unreleased, non-hairy Air Flea, we can confirm that the Cactus Plant Flea Market x Nike Air Flea 2 will release this holiday season with two colorways.
Following the confirmation that the CPFM x Nike Air Flea 2 was releasing, Brendan Dunne of Complex discovered images of the sneaker. Seen on the feet of Franz Lyons, the bassist of the band Turnstile, the silhouette gives off heavy Balenciaga Defender vibes with its aggressive rubber sole unit. On the upper, we see what appears to be neoprene being secured by two forefoot straps, each hosting buttons. The lateral side is home to a large white Swoosh, which is possibly removeable as the right sneaker is pictured without it. Other details found across the model include Flea 2 branding on the tongue and pull tab as well as included charms featuring yin yang and Nike Swooshes.
The Cactus Plant Flea Market x Nike Air Flea 2 in Black and Faded Spruce will release this October 18, 2023 through CPFM. Both pairs will later shock drop on October 20th, 2023, via SNKRS. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $220.
