Carhartt WIP And Salomon Collaborate On A Stealthy Boot

Workwear enthusiasts are well aware of Carhartt’s WIP line, creating elevated garments with a rugged design. Taking this design language to Salomon and their winter boot, the Carhartt WIP x Salomon Shelter CSWP is born.
Constructed out of a navy colored waterproof textile, a full rip stop material covers the entire upper. Accenting this is fused black plastic, making up the mudguard and and midfoot overlays that run back to the heel. This same plastic fuse helps secure the lace eyelets, housing black rope laces that sit above the Carhartt WIP branded tongue. Around the collar, a grey textile overlay accents the black mesh sock liner that features Climatherm insulation. Back on the heel, a stacked heel tab features tan, black and grey with Carhartt branding. Rounding out the look is the two-tone black and grey midsole paired to a navy contagrip tractioned rubber outsole.
The Carhartt WIP x Salomon Shelter CSWP is set to release on February 9th, 2022 through Carhartt, Salomon and select retailers worldwide. Coming in men's sizing, retail is set at $195.
