The collaboration follows the success of their GT-2160 project, which brought couture-level details to the world of sportswear.
The Cecile Bahnsen x Asics Gel-Quantum 360 VIII has two stunning colorways: Silver Mint and Yellow. The design features a techy, two-tone mesh upper with 5D print overlays, providing a modern and dynamic look. What sets this model apart is its sandal-style construction, featuring two velcro straps adorned with delicate floral embellishments—a subtle nod to Bahnsen's previous Asics collaboration. The shoe's base is crafted with Division Space technology, which utilizes the space between the GEL and the midsole to enhance comfort. The semi-transparent rubber outsole is another standout feature, incorporating a customized floral print underneath, adding a unique and artistic touch to the overall design.
The Cecile Bahnsen x Asics Gel-Quantum 360 VIII Pack W will release on August 14, 2024, exclusively via Cecile Bahnsen's website. A release through Asics and select retailers online and in-store will take place on September 20. Priced at €240 (approximately $260 USD), these sandals will be available in women's sizing.
