For over three decades, Chocolate Skateboards has been a defining force in skateboarding culture, blending creativity, style, and heritage into every deck they release. To commemorate this remarkable milestone, Chocolate Skateboards has teamed up with Nike SB and eBay for a collaborative project that celebrates their shared history in skate culture. The “30 Chocolate Years” auction will feature the ultra-limited Chocolate Skateboards x Nike SB Dunk Low Sun, with only 30 pairs available.
Unlike the original Chocolate Skateboards x Nike SB Dunk Low from 2002, this new colorway is dressed in vibrant yellow and rust orange hues, paying homage to Chocolate’s iconic Sun Series designs—the upper features premium suede overlays in vibrant yellow. Orange panels add depth and energy to the silhouette. A clean white leather Swoosh runs across the sides, complemented by white midsoles and gum rubber outsoles.
Red accents on the heel tab and the embroidered Chocolate logo add a bold finish to the design. Each pair is individually numbered on the sole and comes with a collectible Chocolate Mulder Sun Series Reissue skate deck.
In addition to the limited-edition sneakers, the auction will feature 30 exclusive skate decks from Chocolate’s archive, ten from each decade, alongside Stussy x Chocolate T-shirts. To celebrate further, Chocolate Skateboards is hosting a public exhibition from December 8-14 in Los Angeles, showcasing their archives, memorabilia, and a retrospective of skateboarding culture from 1994 to today. This mixed-media exhibition will allow fans to explore the legacy of Chocolate Skateboards and the Nike SB Dunk while bidding on some of the most coveted pieces in skateboarding history.
