CLOT, the renowned streetwear brand founded by Edison Chen and Kevin Poon, is once again working on the Nike Dunk Low. Following up on its successful three-way collaboration with Nike and fragment design on a silk-covered Dunk Low and its own pack of Cortez colorways, CLOT will be getting two more Nike Dunk Lows.
For the "Flax" pair. This pair features a cork-like upper in an earthy flax shade. Nods to CLOT's 20th anniversary can be found on the heel with "2003" and "2023" placed on the left and right sneaker respectively. More nods to this anniversary are found on the insole and on the cork graphic-covered packaging. CLOT logos are placed on the medial heel overlay, sitting just below the removeable Swoosh. Included in the packaging will be six different Swoosh options, including a satin, chrome, and snakeskin option. Underfoot, a sail midsole and brown outsole complete the look for this "Flax" pair.
The CLOT x Nike Dunk Low SP Flax will be the first of the two CLOT Nike Dunk Lows to release on June 23rd via Juice Store for $150.
For the other rendition, Edison Chen crafts a CLOT x Nike Dunk Low "What The?," bringing the highly coveted theme to the Dunk Low. Inspiration from past CLOT x Nike releases, including the Air Jordan 13 Low, Air Force 1 Low "1World," Air Max 1 "Kiss of Death," and Nike Dunk High "Flux," are seen throughout the upper with various panels borrowing certain elements from these aforementioned sneakers and more.
The CLOT x Nike Dunk Low What the Clot was originally released on July 29, 2023, exclusively via Juice Store for $150. Now, even after signing a deal with adidas, CLOT will restock the pair in-store at Juice Store on May 10, 2024. Next week, an online drop will take place.
