Japanese fashion powerhouse Comme des Garcons is renowned for its abstract, artful aesthetic. Adding another stellar collaboration to its rich Nike portfolio, CDG Homme Plus brings a neutral palette to the popular Nike ACG Mountain Fly 2 Low.
Comme des Garcons and Nike bring a distinctive spin to the ACG Mountain Fly 2 Low silhouette, marrying performance innovation with high fashion. There are no significant changes to the silhouette’s technical features, including the outsole extension on the toe cap, bungee lace setup, and rubberized sidewalls. However, the midfoot’s prominent “ACG” branding is removed. Underfoot, the same foam and rubber sole unit remains and sticks to the same color palette as the rest of the upper. Three colorways were spotted on the runway, including an all-black look with white branding details, an all-white pair, and a two-tone white and black rendition.
The Comme des Garcons Homme Plus x Nike ACG Mountain Fly 2 Low Pack will release March 22, 2024, through Dover Street Market and CDG stores worldwide, both online and in-store. Available in unisex sizing, the pairs will retail for £260 in the UK, though a US price has not been confirmed.
