Saucony’s presence in collaborative footwear has expanded as more sneakerheads have begun to check out the brand. While Jae Tips is the highlight for the brand at the moment, the running label is looking to former partner COSTS, who they teamed up with in 2022, to help reintroduce the KINVARA 4 RE sneaker back onto the market.
This collaboration is titled Infinite Galaxy and draws on celestial aesthetics via footwear and apparel. The KINVARA 4 RE sneaker has been given a galactic makeover with two colorways: Interstellar Grey and Meteorite Sand. The Interstellar Grey colorway is pictured here, which reflects the cosmic theme by incorporating textures that evoke meteorites and celestial bodies. This look includes distressed and worn panels, most notably through the Saucony logo on the midfoot, wrapped in a textured grey suede that gives serious meteorite vibes. A mix of high-tech fabrics, including water-repellent materials, a nylon drawstring lace system, and a pull tab at the heel for easy wear, construct the sneaker.
In addition to its cosmic design, the COSTS x Saucony KINVARA 4 RE sneakers offer top-tier performance features. The shoes retain the lightweight DNA of the KINVARA series, incorporating a 4mm heel-to-toe offset for a natural running feel. The TPU midsole enhances support and stability, while the EVA-cushioned rubber outsole ensures comfort with every step.
The COSTS x Saucony KINVARA 4 RE Infinite Galaxy Pack will release on September 27, 2024, exclusively through COSTS online in Asia. Pricing has yet to be announced.
