Many sneakerheads dream of opening their shop with an identity that fits their love and interests. Only some will experience that dream, and even fewer will get to work with Nike on an official collaboration. One such brand, Dancer, got the collab of a lifetime with their upcoming Nike SB. Residing in Copenhagen, Dancer was founded in 2019 by three friends, Anton Juul, Kevin Walker, and Hjalte Halberg.
As a professional skater, Halberg loves rocking Grant Taylor's version of the Nike SB Zoom Blazer. With an already long list of accolades for the brand and Halberg, Nike SB decided to collaborate with the brand to celebrate their hard work and success. The Dancer Skateboards x Nike SB Zoom Blazer Low is set for October 2024.
With eye-catching Blazer collabs released in the past, such as the Kaws x sacai x Nike Blazer Low and the Off-White x Nike Blazer Low, this new collaboration with Dancer isn't as colorful but still makes a statement. Dressed in predominantly black leather that gives the shoe a sleek look, the Swoosh on the medial stands out in a shiny chrome finish. The Dancer logo is debossed into the leather on both the heel and tongue, which gives the silhouette a premium feel.
The insole reminds people that they're rocking a comfortable skateboarding sneaker with the Nike SB logo on one side and Dancer's logo on the other. The black vulcanized rubber sole provides comfort and stability for pulling all the tricks out of the bag while skateboarding. Dancer's logo appears once more on the bottom of the outsole, further showcasing the attention to detail spent on this pair that will have skateboarders and sneakerheads dancing with joy.
The Dancer Skateboards x Nike SB Zoom Blazer Low will release on October 5, 2024, through Nike and select Nike SB retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, retail is set at $110.
