After previously working on an Under Armour Curry Flow Cozy that was inspired by his high school, Madisonville North Hopkins, Davin Gentry is continuing to land collaborations with the Baltimore-based sports brand via his Diet Starts Monday imprint. Once again working on the same silhouette, DSM has created an earth-tone neutral colorway with special design details seen throughout.
Covered in a mixture of hairy stone suede, perforated khaki suede, and black mesh panels, the sneaker maintains its usual basketball-ready construction with added hits of DSM branding and motifs. Along the mudguard, “Diet Starts Monday” and “Monday I Promise” gets embroidered in black on the lateral and medial sides respectively, accented by the stone suede it sits atop. Tonal tan laces run up the mesh tongue towards a leather tongue tag in a similar shade, both of which contrast the khaki shade that takes over the tongue and collar. Along the midfoot and back towards the heel sits perforated suede with an overlace detail weaving in and out towards the toe. Rounding out the design is a UA Flow midsole in its typical white shade paired with a foam outsole.
The Diet Starts Monday x Under Armour Curry Flow Cozy is set to release in the Spring of 2023 through DSM, Under Armour, and select retailers online and in-store.
