This partnership has a history of producing distinctive colorways across various New Balance models, drawing inspiration from themes like Virginia's heritage on the 2002R and volcanic activity on the most recent 9060. The latest addition, the 990v4 Mistletoe, follows the successful kids' exclusive 990v4 Wild Style 2.0 and is set to make a statement with its vivid and playful design, perfect for the holiday season.
Sporting a volt green upper reminiscent of the famous Nike Kobe 6 Grinch, DTLR’s take on a kids’ exclusive 990v4 comes accentuated with red accents on the toe, lace set, and heel branding. The design is further enhanced with silver highlights on the iconic "N" logo and heel tab, as well as black on the tongue tag, adding a touch of sleekness to the overall look. The sneaker is constructed with a mesh base and leather/nubuck overlays, ensuring durability and comfort. Nods to Christmas are found on the insole with a Christmas tree graphic in red. Underneath, the shoe features a white and green 990v4 midsole paired with a clear rubber outsole, combining style with functionality.
The DTLR Exclusive New Balance 990v4 Mistletoe GS will release November 27, 2023 exclusively via DTLR online and in-store. The retail prices are set at $115 for grade school sizes, $100 for preschool, and $80 for toddler sizes.
