Eames Brings Their Furniture To Life On A Pack Of Reebok Classic Leather Colorways

To start off 2022, Eames and Reebok came together to launch a variety of Reebok Club C colorways that drew inspiration from the famed design house’s archives. Now turning their attention to the Reebok Classic Leather, Eames brings to life some of their most famous pieces with four Eames x Reebok Classic Leather colorways on the way.

The four pieces utilized include Eames’ “The Coloring Book” kit, Elephant, and Lounge Chair and Ottoman furniture pieces. For “The Coloring Book”, an all-white leather is utilized with various objects and shapes outlined in black all throughout the upper. Branding gets a rework with the usual Reebok text on the midfoot window being replaced with Eames as well as the tongue tag featuring co-branding between the two brands. Internally, a white insole features the same shapes as the rest of the silhouette with both company's logos being present. Rounding out the look is the white midsole and outsole combo.

On the homages to the “Elephant” children's stool and toy, Eames chooses to dress three colorways with a cool aloe makeover, a seaside grey look, and an all-over vector red. Like all the other pairs in the Eames x Reebok collection, branding gets a facelift with Eames replacing Reebok on the midfoot as well as co-branding on the tongue and insoles. A lace cover in the shape of an elephant follows the same color palette as the leather upper, hiding the white tongue with elephant designs all over. Underfoot, the midsole and outsole follow the same color design on each colorway.

Finally, the iconic leather chair and ottoman get split between two brown leather sneakers. On the right pair, the leather gets patinated with shades of an aged dark brown all throughout. On the left pair, a lighter brown with similar aging details overtakes the entire upper, sans the black tongue. Eames makes their appearance once again on the midfoot window, as well as both brands present on the tongue tag, and insole. Also present on the insoles are schematics of the leather chair and ottoman, seen on the right and left pair respectively. Finishing the look is a tonal-brown midsole and gum rubber outsole.

The entire Eames x Reebok Classic Leather collection will be available on June 10th through Eames, Reebok, and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $120 for all five pairs.
