Australian boutique Earls Collection is making waves in the sneaker world with its upcoming collaboration with Asics. Slated for a 2024 release, the Earls Collection x Asics GT-2160 is a refreshing take on one of the newest Asics models, which has seen recent collaborations with notable brands like Gallery Dept., Costs, and Dime.
Earls Collection's rendition of the Asics GT-2160 perfectly blends sophistication and style. The sneaker features a woven textile base in a neutral cream shade, beautifully complemented by brown suede overlays. These earthy tones set a subdued, elegant backdrop for the vibrant green accents that adorn the lace set and heel, adding color and energy to the design.
The sneaker is further distinguished by Earls Collection's branding on the lateral heel, a subtle yet impactful touch that signifies the collaboration. The classic Asics tiger stripes on the midfoot and Gel text on the heel maintain the brand's iconic aesthetic. Underneath, the sneaker is equipped with a Gel-cushioned midsole, combining white, brown, and cream hues for a cohesive look. The design is completed with a tonal outsole that complements the upper.
The Earls Collection x Asics GT-2160 Ngāwari will release in February 2024 through Earls Collection as the brand has announced a raffle will begin on February 11 at 6 PM AEDT (Feb 11 at 2 AM for the East Coast of the US). A global launch will follow on February 23. Available in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $150.
