Jordan Brand’s foray into the golf world has included a series of inline golf-ready Jordan 1s and collaborative efforts on other Jordan models with black-owned golf label Eastside Golf. Following the reveal of the duo’s upcoming Air Jordan 6 Retro Golf and Jordan ADG 4 collabs, another silhouette joins the party. We can confirm that Eastside Golf will tackle another Air Jordan 1 High Golf this year.
Eastside Golf's take on the AJ1 High Golf maintains an all-leather upper and comes in the iconic "Bred" colorblocking. Black leather appears on the mudguard, eyestays, quarter panel, and collar. Malachite leather graces the toebox, heel overlay, and collar overlays. Along the Swoosh, more shades of malachite are visible with Eastside Golf text placed across the logo. Like the other pairs in this collection, Eastside Golf's is present on the tongue tag and nods to 1961, the year the PGA allowed non-white golfers to compete, are found on the heel overlays. The left sneaker hosts the word "Change" while the right pair contains "1961." Rounding out the look is the sail midsole and malachite spikeless outsole.
The Eastside Golf x Air Jordan 1 High Golf was originally set to release September 8, 2023. After a small delay, it will now drop on September 19 through Eastside Golf and on September 22 through Nike, and the SNKRS app. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $200.
