UK-based retailer END. has teamed up with Saucony for its latest footwear collaboration. This time, both brands look to Scottish folklore to tell the story of one of the most elusive sea creatures, the Loch Ness Monster, aka Nessie.
Choosing to work on the Saucony Triumph 4, the Nessie edition comes in an aquatic blue and teal colorway, reminiscing the description witnesses have described for hundreds of years—the upper sports hairy suede overlays paired with open mesh underlays. Subtle grey hits via the logo on the sides and back heel add some extra depth to this pair. Cream-colored laces help to break up the blue and teal theme. More cream is found via the ProGrid-cushioned midsole, which sits atop a green translucent rubber outsole. A custom-branded Nessie graphic adorns the insole with END branding on the back heel and Saucony on the tongue.
The END x Saucony Triumph 4 Nessie will release on July 19, 2024, exclusively via END Launches. Coming in men’s sizing, retail is set at $165. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
