Rihanna and Puma have rekindled their successful partnership with the relaunch of the Fenty Puma line last year, and the collaboration continues to gain momentum. One of the standout models from this revitalized collection is the Puma Creeper Phatty. Originally featuring suede and nubuck constructions, the Creeper Phatty now receives a stylish corduroy makeover.
This latest Fenty x Puma release introduces a fresh take on the iconic Y2K-inspired silhouette with an upper constructed from corduroy. The pack includes two colorways: Black and Red Gum. The corduroy material covers the toe, midfoot, eyestays, and heel, while the tongue boasts a luxurious suede finish. The red pair features contrasting white laces and a white Formstrip on the midfoot, adding a striking visual appeal.
In contrast, the black pair is a monochromatic masterpiece, covering every element from top to bottom in a sleek black shade. Fenty branding is prominently displayed on the tongue via a debossed logo and an F logo on the heel. Inside, the sneakers feature a co-branded insole with logos for Puma and Fenty. Completing the design is a chunky rubber sole unit—black for the black colorway and gum for the red pair. The sneakers come packaged in a special co-branded box with a satin dust bag included, adding an extra touch of luxury.
The Fenty x Puma Creeper Phatty Corduroy Pack will release on July 11, 2024, through Puma and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in full-family sizing, the retail price is set at $120 for adult pairs, with gradeschool sizes at $100, preschool at $75, and toddler at $65.
