We were first introduced to the adidas Yeezy Knit RNR in the summer of 2020 when Ye tweeted an image of the “Sulfur” colorway, captioning the tweet “Turrellian.” To our surprise, a year later, the silhouette made its debut with a limited release in September 2021 via Yeezy Supply.
For 2022, the adidas Yeezy Knit RNR returns for its second drop. Covered fully in knit, it mimicks the shape of the Yeezy Foam RNNR. Grey covers the bottom portion of the upper, being broken up by a light brown near the top. The size of the Knit RNR is displayed on the medial side of the collar in black text. When deconstructed, the internal of the Knit RNR features foam pieces that provide comfort on the top of your foot as well as giving the model its clog shape. Heading towards the treaded outsole we see a continuation of grey with adidas branding. EVA foam is used to provide the wearer comfort, although not the same composite EVA that is used on Yeezy Slides or the Foam RNNR.
The adidas Yeezy Knit RNR Stone Carbon is set to release in February 2022. It will launch at adidas as well as select Yeezy retailers in-store and online. They will be available in men’s sizing with a retail price set at $210. Keep it locked to our Twitter and Mobile App to stay up to date on this release as it gets closer.
