Led by skateboard legend Jason Dill, FA has continually put its stamp on some of the most revered Vans silhouettes, infusing them with an ethos that's as unapologetic as the brand's name. Their latest endeavor on the Vans Half Cab pays homage to the rich history of skateboarding's favorite mid-top, designed initially by skate icon Steve Caballero.
This collaboration presents two new renditions of the Half Cab, each bearing distinct, head-turning designs. The Black Crackle version showcases an elephant print-like pattern draped across the upper, while striking blue laces cut through the monochrome aesthetic, offering a vivid counterpoint.
In contrast, the Soldier Camo iteration takes an adventurous route with a camouflage pattern reminiscent of the Supreme x Air Jordan 5. What sets this apart are the detailed depictions of soldiers, bringing a narrative element to the design. Both pairs are equipped with Vans' PopCush cushioning for superior comfort and a black sole with SickStick gum rubber for unparalleled grip.
