Parra and Vans linked up earlier this year to commemorate Go Skateboarding Day 2024 on the Vans Half Cab. While this pair remained exclusive for friends and family, a retail version of this Parra collab on Steve Caballero’s second signature sneaker has appeared online.
Unlike the F&F edition, this version has vibrant colors, including blue, aqua green, purple, pink, red, and orange. Suede constructs the entire upper, while wavy panels across the upper are each colored differently. Branding is reworked along the tongue and collar patch, with a bird now integrated into the design. While these patches feature Vans and Half Cab logos, the upper lacks Parra branding, reserved for the insole via the custom graphic. The sneakers are also housed in a custom box designed by Parra, the same one seen on the F&F version, as a wavy graphic is applied to the cardboard alongside custom OTW branding. Finishing the sneaker’s design is the vulcanized rubber midsole in white paired with a gum rubber outsole.
The Parra x Vans Half Cab will be released on September 24, 2024, through Parra, OTW by Vans, and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $135.
