Puma's basketball division has expanded in the last half-decade with the German sportswear brand making a push into the market by signing stars like LaMelo Ball and Breanna Stewart. For Stewart, her Stewie series marked the first signature model from a female athlete in nearly a decade, and now we're on the cusp of her third sneaker, the Stewie 3, releasing. While we've seen multiple inline renditions of the sneaker, including a Paris colorway, a Team Color Pack, Coral Yellow, and Multi Color, her sneaker is hosting a collaborative effort with her favorite movie, Harry Potter.
Great day at Universal Studies... #WandGameCrazy
Designed with a smokey grey upper, the Harry Potter x Puma Stewie 3 takes inspiration directly from the dark and mystical elements of the Harry Potter series. The traditional floral pattern on the midfoot TPU overlay is replaced with the ominous Dark Mark, signifying the presence of Voldemort and his Death Eaters, stretching towards the heel adorned with the iconic symbol of the Deathly Hallows. The collaboration further embeds itself in the wizarding world through an HP logo featuring the golden snitch on the heel tab and a lightning bolt replacing Breanna's signature S logo on the vamp. The sneaker is finished with a marbled grey midsole and outsole, the latter detailed with a floral pattern and Stewart's branding, combining her prowess on the court with the fantasy of Harry Potter.
The Harry Potter x Puma Stewie 3 W will release on September 6, 2024, through Puma and select retailers online and in-store. Available in women's sizing, the retail price is set at $130.
