2023 and 2024 saw the Instagram mood board-turned-fashion-brand Hidden NY collaborate with Asics on multiple occasions. First, the duo launched an ultra-limited customized version of the GT-2160 in December 2023 and followed this up with the hit Gel-NYC collab in April 2024. Now, after the Gel-Venture 6 has started to hit shelves at select retailers and releases on December 20 via Asics, Hidden NY has teased another drop for the month.
The teaser image shows a blurred-out set of sneakers in a dark green and mint color palette similar to the pair JW Customs created for Hidden in December 2024. However, the blur makes it tough to determine precisely what silhouette is used. The model may be one of Asics’ more popular silhouettes, like the Gel-Kayano 14, or something newer, like the Gel-1011K, a brand-new silhouette introduced and designed by Gallery Dept.’s founder Josué Thomas.
Hidden NY’s latest Asics collaboration will launch on December 23, 2024, exclusively through Hidden NY’s webstore. Currently, pricing and the exact silhouette of choice remain a mystery.
