ICE STUDIOS And Asics Team Up For A Cool Take On The GEL-Kayano 14

After picking up the camera in her early teens, Renell Medrano has climbed to the top of the mountain in the field of photography, working with companies like Vouge and photographing celebrities from Jay-Z to Kendall Jenner. Aside from her work with the camera, Medrano founded ICE STUDIOS, a clothing brand that has become mega-hyped thanks to Bella Hadid rocking their cargo skirt, though it seems the brand is widening its exposure thanks to an upcoming collab with Asics of the GEL-Kayano 14.

Coming in a monochromatic cool icy blue shade that clearly plays off the ICE STUDIOS name, the silhouette is covered in mesh and synthetic leather underlays and overlays. Accenting silver lines the Tiger stripes on the midfoot while a deeper blue shiny leather panel on the heel hosts “ICE STUDIOS” branding in a vibrant yellow on the right pair, though the left pair keeps the standard GEL-Kayano 14 text. More branding details appear on the tongue tag with your typical Asics logo while the insoles split ICE STUDIOS and Asics logos between the right and left pair respectively. Rounding out the look is the two-tone blue and white midsole with yellow hits on the heel paired with a rubber outsole coming in varying shades of blue.

The ICE STUDIOS x Asics GEL-Kayano 14 is slated to release through ICE STUDIOS on August 12th while a global launch will take place on August 19th through Asics and select retailers online and in-store.
