Jalen Brunson Shares Images of his Nike Kobe 4 Protro Natty PE

NBA athletes all dream of being like Kobe Bryant. Many in the league are lucky they can lace up his signature sneakers with Nike, especially those signed to The Swoosh, who get these pairs early and for free. However, a special few, like Jalen Brunson, take it a step further by wearing some of the most exclusive pairs, and the New York Knicks star did just that last night when he debuted a new Nike Kobe 4 PE.

Inspired by Brunson’s alma mater, Villanova, and the two National Championships they won when he was on the team in 2016 and 2018, the sneaker features the school’s blue palette. Deep navy blue hues grace the faux reptile skin around the mudguard and the perforated leather on the toebox, while the midfoot panel comes in a stark black finish. Pops of gold take over the midfoot Swoosh and the Kobe sheath logo on the tongue, the former lined with Villanova’s blue.

More of the school’s blue hue is on the sockliner, contrasted by the navy leather on the collar and the navy TPU overlay on the heel. Underfoot sits a white foam midsole with an icy blue rubber outsole that partially extends to the midsole.
