Jalen Hurts’ 2025 Playoff Run Starts With a New Air Jordan 11 Eagles PE

While this writer is decidedly a Washington Commanders fan, props can still be given to division rivals. Since signing with Jordan Brand in 2023, Philadelphia Eagles QB Jalen Hurts has dominated the gridiron in high-heat Air Jordan PE cleats, including a mismatched Air Jordan 11 that violated the NFL’s uniform policy. Jordan Brand was comfortable paying the fine around that violation, but for the first postseason matchup of 2025, Hurts commissioned a brand-new pair of Jordan 11s from customizer Sean Vergara.

A two-tone approach that conforms to the NFL’s uniform policy is present on Hurts’ newest Jordan 11 PE, with the patent leather upper coated in white and the Eagles’ green hue. Along the mudguard, which runs back to the heel, we see white patent leather, while the rest of the upper, sans the padding around the heel tab, comes in green patent leather. OG Air Jordan 11 branding remains on the tongue and collar. However, Jalen Hurts' custom logo is applied to the heel tab, replacing the 45 or 23, which traditionally represents MJ's jersey numbers.

The new PEs helped propel Hurts and the Eagles to a smooth 22-10 victory in enemy territory. During the game, Hurts completed 13 of 21 pass attempts for 131 yards and two touchdowns. Next week, the team will play the winner of the Rams—Vikings game, which takes place today, January 13, 2025.
