Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has officially put pen to paper, sealing an endorsement deal with Jordan Brand. With this partnership, Hurts joins the elite cadre of Jordan Brand-affiliated NFL quarterbacks. The current roster includes notable names like Dak Prescott and Bryce Young. Hurts becomes the third active quarterback in the NFL to have ties with this iconic sportswear brand.
Going back to Hurts' rookie year in 2020, the eventual superstar was rocking Under Armour cleats, a trend that continued for most of the 2021 season. This changed during Week 15 when the quarterback rocked his first pair of Jordan cleats in an NFL game. Following this, Hurts has consistently chosen to play in Jordan Brand footwear.
Even before this official endorsement, Hurts took part in promotional activities for the brand. He played a role in marketing Teyana Taylor's Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT 2 collaboration, appearing in a short film and showcasing the sneaker via his social media. One significant footwear moment for Hurts occurred during Super Bowl LVII, where he switched his cleats from Air Jordan 11s to Jordan 1s in the second half.
The specifics of the deal, including the monetary details and contract duration, remain under wraps. Hurts would be the perfect candidate to receive a signature cleat from Jordan Brand, considering how early into his career he has signed with the label. The only player to obtain a signature silhouette from Jordan Brand in the NFL is the hall of fame wide receiver Randy Moss.
