Joseph Robinson aka Joe Freshgoods, or JFG for short, has continued to make waves within the streetwear and sneaker world due to his keen eye for color palettes, materials, and stories behind his design choices. Most known for his collaborations with New Balance, the West Side Chicago native has also had the opportunity to partner with brands such as AT&T, McDonald’s, and New Era on capsules. Taking to social media during a barrage of Instagram Story posts, JFG has just teased his latest collaborator, Vans.
JFG announced the collaboration with a Vans cobranded postcard stating “Bitch, Im back, Joe (AKA Him)” as well as a teaser of the packaging for his take on one of the skateboard-focused brand’s silhouettes. A pink Vans box gets a hit of a signature JFG design courtesy of the co-branded Vans and Joe Freshgoods logo up top and the quote “EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON” placed on the side, likely the theme for this upcoming collaboration. With various images on his story and plenty of his past sneaker designs including the color pink, it is only appropriate that one of the upcoming Honeymoon Stage Vans comes in two pink variations - hot pink and light pink. The third and final colorway is red.
The Joe Freshgoods x Vans Style 36 LX Honeymoon Stage Pack is set to release on July 1st, 2022 exclusively in-store at Every Now & Then pop-up store at 1008 W Lake in Chicago, IL.
