When it comes to signing talent, Jordan Brand reserves the pen and paper for only the most elite ball players in the NBA. The league itself, on top of the signees at Jordan Brand, are undergoing a changing of the guard as the top talent in basketball is reaching the tail-end of their careers. Preparing for the future, the newest generation of talent has signed to JB in the last few years, including Jayson Tatum, Zion Williamson, and Luka Dončić, with the latest signee getting announced today - the 2022 NBA draft’s first overall pick, Paolo Banchero.
Generating buzz during his single year at Duke University, Banchero was named Rookie of the Year and a second-team All-American. His performance also led to his name being selected first overall by the Orlando Magic in the latest NBA draft. When asked about his recent signing to Jordan Brand, Paolo was quoted as saying, “The opportunity to be a part of the Jordan family means everything to me. I grew up wearing Jordans, and to now be a part of his brand is really a dream come true.”
As of now, no word is out on whether or not Paolo will receive his very own signature silhouette through Jordan Brand, but expect the power forward to be rocking Jordan gear for the foreseeable future.
