Jordan Brand may have gotten its start in performance basketball, though the sub-division of Nike is constantly looking to expand its reach. Lifestyle models have appeared from time to time, like the Jordan Centre Court that was featured in The Last Dance, though the latest is going all in on style with the upcoming Jordan Granville Pro "Coconut Milk Neutral Grey."
Coming in a lifestyle-ready low-top form, the Granville Pro is the latest edition to the 23 Engineered Line, a lineup that is looking to perverse the heritage of Jordan Brand while pushing the streetwear boundaries through its use of materials and construction. The silhouette's typical suede, mesh, and plastic build are transported to UNC through its use of creams, blacks, tans, whites, and blue shades. Around the mudguard and eyestays, the light grey suede contrasts well with the white textile-like overlay on the medial side, reinforced through blue plastic fused overlays and stitching details. On the medial side, however, a navy blue mesh replaces the white tones and features a hit of Nike branding through its gel Swoosh. Back along the collar, a cream-colored mesh is partially hidden by the heel's large plastic counter in a dark navy blue shade. Underfoot, the ultra-comfy Formula 23 foam midsole in cream gets paired to a mostly all-foam outsole, sans the forefoot and heels blue rubber.
The Jordan Granville Pro SP Coconut Milk Neutral Grey is slated to release on September 8th, 2022 exclusively via Social Status online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $140.
