In the Summer of 2018, Luka Dončić was selected by the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA draft and then traded to the Dallas Mavericks. Since then, the Slovenian basketball player has had one helluva career, recording his third triple-double with 19 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists. In fact, Dončić is the youngest player in NBA history to record three triple-doubles, edging Magic Johnson by 117 days. As a tribute to the Mavs, his latest signature shoe, the Jordan Luka 1 White Sport Blue, is inspired by the team's official colors - so let's take our first look yet.
As clean as it gets, this Luka 1 boasts a white knit construction that's both flexible and versatile. Flightwire cable technology runs through the sidewalls, while the sockliner, pull tab, and tongue are all accented with bold sport blue hues, the latter of which comes decorated with Dončić's personal logo. Underfoot, the Formula 23 offers a crazy amount of comfort while on the court, while optimum support is provided through an IsoPlate foot frame. To round it all off, the Latin phrase for "Never Give Up, Never Surrender" adorns the medial side of the left shoe, while the right shoe is printed with "Jordan Brand Basketball" in all caps.
Releasing this Holiday 2022, the Jordan Luka 1 White Sport Blue will be available in men's sizing for $110 via Nike as well as at select Jordan Brand retailers worldwide.
