Luka Doncic is a core player in the next generation of NBA superstars, so it’s no surprise Jordan Brand decided to bless him with a second signature model. While the Jordan Luka 2 was only recently revealed to the public, it already has a Quai54 collaboration on deck. Now, Jordan is expanding the lineup once again with an EYBL Luka 2.
The Jordan Luka 2 EYBL begins with a light blue base made up of suede and mesh. Solid blue covers the heel area, while the mesh takes on splotches a tad lighter than the base, giving it a patterned look. Thin leather overlays stretch horizontally in a pastel tie-dye pattern similar to the Jordan Luka 2 Rainbow Sorbet. Translucent plastic shanks found at the midfoot and toe take on an apricot hue, blending with oranges seen in the tie-dye. The sleek white midsole is stamped with a black jumpman logo. An EYBL logo is featured on the pastel tongue, while the two heels spell out “NON DESISTAS NON EXIERIS 77,” which translates to “never give up, never surrender”. The tongue's pull tab contains the roman numeral “II” and features seven hash marks, calling back to Lukas jersey number. The translucent outsole has hits of orange and bright green, with a matching bold black Jumpman logo sitting under the heel.
The Jordan Luka 2 EYBL is set to release this year via Nike and select retailers, online and in-store. Releasing in mens sizing, the retail price is expected to be $140.
