Luka Dončić's partnership with Jordan Brand will continue this year with the Jordan Luka 2. Jordan Brand announced that the Slovenian guard's second signature Jordan sneaker is set to debut July 2023. For its latest rendition, Jordan Brand is taking inspiration from previous PEs from Luka and his early professional career in Madrid with the "Matador" colorway.
This Jordan Luka 2 combines a vibrant array of colors and materials to create a shoe as bold as it is functional. The upper blends mesh, suede, and TPU materials, featuring tropical twist and teal shades. The tongue sports tonal shades of blue, leading to two hits of metallic gold, one of which is Luka's logo. Red and black Jumpman branding on the tongue's pull tab offers a nod to MJ’s heritage. The heel carries an inspiring Latin phrase, "non desistas non exieris," split between the left and right sneaker, which translates to "Do not give up. Do not surrender." Below, the blue midsole features white TPU portions with gold speckles and comes cushioned by Formula 23 and Cushlon 3.0 foam. Rounding out Luka's latest sneaker is the semi-translucent rubber outsole.
The Jordan Luka 2 Matador will release August 3 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s and grade school sizing, the retail price is set at $140 and $100, respectively.
