While many are hunting for retro releases of the original 14 Air Jordan silhouettes, Jordan Brand has given us fusion versions of these iconic sneakers. The upcoming Jordan MVP "Off White Medium Soft Pink" is no exception, as the model draws inspiration from the three sneakers MJ wore in his first three-peat (the Air Jordan 6, 7, and 8).
Covered in a primarily white leather upper, pink accents along the sockliner and TPU overlay add some flair to the clean white look. Internally, a neoprene bootie construction ensures a snug fit. Tonal laces match most of the white leather upper, while the semi-translucent white tongue and white nylon pull tab add to the sleek look. Design elements borrowed from other models include the Air Jordan 6’s tongue design, the AJ 7s Jumpman logo along the collar, and the Air Jordan 8’s TPU overlay near the heel. Although this pair isn’t an OG Jordan, "Nike Air" text appears on the heel's spine. Rounding out the design is the AJ 6 midsole with pink and white hits paired with a semi-translucent white and solid grey rubber outsole.
The Jordan MVP Off White Medium Soft Pink W will be available at Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers in Fall 2023. Releasing exclusively in women's sizing, the retail price is set at $165.
