The Boston Celtics have had a stellar 2022-2023 season in the NBA as currently the C’s are standing in 2nd place in the Eastern Conference and are virtually guaranteed a playoff spot this season. One key player, Jayson Tatum, has helped propel his team forward throughout the season and has a major milestone he is achieving this year - debuting his first signature sneaker with Jordan Brand. As we unveiled in 2022, the Jordan Tatum 1 is soon set to arrive in a slew of colorways, however, Tatum has already started rocking PE colorways of the model on the hardwood floor. Already seen in a “Blueprint” rendition, Tatum honors his mother Brandy Cole-Barnes with the Jordan Tatum 1 “Momma’s Boy” PE.
Replacing the usual engineered mesh found on the upper with a canvas/corduroy-esque material, the sneaker gets doused in shades of white and black with volt green accents seen throughout the silhouette. A black floral graphic takes over the upper with hints of volt green seen on some of the leaf designs while TPU overlays near the midfoot and toe take on a black finish. Two-tone laces in black and volt green match the tongue and “JT” branding nearby as well as the Jumpman logo and Tatum branding found on the heel. Underfoot sits an uncaged Zoom Air unit near the forefoot with volt green hits peeking through thanks to the midsole’s design while everything is rounded out by a white foam midsole and rubber outsole.
The Jordan Tatum 1 Momma’s Boy PE is set to remain exclusive to Tatum (and likely his mother), though check down below for detailed images of the colorway.
