Last night, Jayson Tatum and his Boston Celtics pulled out an overtime win against the Indiana Pacers in the first game of the Eastern Conference Finals. On Tatum's feet was his second signature model with Jordan Brand, the Jordan Tatum 2. Since its introduction earlier this year, the Jordan Tatum 2 has been released in various colorways. Following the reveal of the Jordan Spizike Low Dongdan, the Jordan Tatum 2 is now getting its own Dongdan treatment, paying homage to the renowned Chinese streetball tournament.
The Jordan Tatum 2 Dongdan is inspired by the vibrant sunsets seen at the tournament. The upper features a striking tie-dye multi-color pattern with purples, pinks, and aqua-green hues. This colorful pattern is predominantly applied to a canvas base, with the tongue and sockliner sporting a solid indigo hue for contrast.
Tatum's logo is embroidered on the right sneaker's tongue, while the Dongdan logo appears in a glowing green shade on the left. These logos are also featured on the insoles. The sneaker's midfoot showcases foam and textile pods designed to alleviate pressure in high-impact areas during gameplay, rendered in a pink hue. The shoe sits on a white foam midsole and a multi-color rubber outsole, ensuring both comfort and style on the court.
The Jordan Tatum 2 Dongdan will release in 2024 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store in Asia. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price has yet to be announced.
