Jayson Tatum will be taking the court this February as a starter for the Eastern Conference in the NBA All-Star game, marking his fifth NBA All-Star appearance. When he takes the court, he's likely going to be sporting the yet-to-be-released Jordan Tatum 2, his second signature sneaker with Jordan Brand. So far, we've seen images of the Momma's Boy colorway and the Vortex rendition, with a new colorway perfect for Easter just appearing.
The Jordan Tatum 2 Sidewalk Chalk edition captures the essence of the spring holiday with its pastel color palette. On the base, we see a diamond mesh pattern complemented by asymmetrical overlays in a soft pink hue. This hue is contrasted by smoke grey accents on the lace set, tongue, and textile and foam pods on the midfoot, designed to reduce pressure in high-impact areas during play.
Surrounding the pods is a tie-dye pattern, blending pastel hues in a nod to Easter's playful and vibrant spirit. Mint green accents adorn Tatum's JT logo on the tongue and Jumpman on the lateral pod, while purple highlights the sockliner and tongue lining. The design is completed with a pink foam midsole equipped with a full-length Air Strobel unit for unparalleled comfort and responsiveness, alongside a multi-color outsole that incorporates grey rubber pods and a tie-dye pattern for a festive touch.
The Jordan Tatum 2 Sidewalk Chalk will release May 9, 2024, through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Available in men's and GS sizes, the retail price is set at $125 and $90, respectively.
