Jayson Tatum and his Boston Celtics secured a spot in the Eastern Conference Finals, bringing them one step closer to the NBA Finals. During this intense playoff run, Tatum showcased his latest signature sneaker with Jordan Brand, the Jordan Tatum 2. Despite the model receiving a lukewarm response from the public, Jordan Brand is pushing forward with new releases, including a fresh colorway: the Jordan Tatum 2 GPX Denim. Just as early images of the Tatum 3 are making the rounds, this latest iteration of the Tatum 2, with its bleached denim look, is set to keep the spotlight on Tatum’s signature line.
The Jordan Tatum 2 GPX Denim features a striking denim upper, echoing the Denim colorway seen on the Tatum 1. This design covers every sneaker panel, offering a cohesive and stylish appearance. To enhance performance, textile and rubber pods on the midfoot provide relief in high-impact areas, which is essential for gameplay.
These pods are accented with bleached coral and tropical twist hues, adding a vibrant contrast to the denim. The heel tab's textile matches the tonal blue of the upper, ensuring a seamless design. Underfoot, the sneaker has an Air Strobel unit for superior cushioning, contained within a blue foam midsole. The rubber outsole features blue and tropical twist hits, enhancing traction and stability.
The Jordan Tatum 2 GPX Denim is set to release on May 30, 2024, through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $125.
