Jordan Brand’s 2025 plans include plenty of celebrations, from the 40th Anniversary of the first Air Jordan to the yearly homage to the Chinese zodiac. Previews of these pairs have begun to hit the net, with the Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG recently revealed. The Year of the Snake theme now extends to Jayson Tatum’s Jordan Tatum 3.
The silhouette retains its multi-paneled and material upper, dipping its toes into the iridescent realm with a collage of colors, akin to the iridescent nature of snakeskin, laid below the upper. Separating the various panels are tonal embroidered lines that form wavy shapes, keeping the ripstop and mesh material in place. Summit White laces match the jersey mesh tongue that hosts Jayson Tatum branding up top and contain an added snakeskin hangtag found on the Jordan 1 Low and Jordan 11 Low that is a part of the collection.
Back on the heel, the pull tab also contains the iridescent color palette applied to the nylon material, extending this homage to snakes onto the heel tab and parts of the sole unit. The white and barely green foam midsole finishes the design with Cushlon 3.0 foam and Zoom Air cushioning paired with a tonal outsole.
The Jordan Tatum 3 Year of the Snake released today, January 6, 2025, through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $125.
