Considering the fact that we've already seen so many cool colorways, it's hard to believe that Zion Williamson's second signature Swoosh shoe was only revealed back in June. With that said, it looks like the North Carolina-born power forward will be adding another pair to his ever-growing roster with the Jordan Zion 2 "Pelicans." Inspired by his team, the New Orleans Pelicans, here's everything that we know so far.
Featuring a mesh and leather construction, this Zion 2 boasts a color combination that pays tribute to the Louisiana-based team. Coconut Milk is poured all over the upper, while a dash of pomegranate and midnight navy hit the tongue and collar in a mismatched fashion, complete with Zion's signature in chenille. This fleecy texture extends towards the heel of each shoe, covering the legendary Jumpman on the left, and varsity-style "ZW" initials on the right. This all sits on top of a gum-lined Air Strobel midsole that's playfully decorated with "Let's Dance" around the back, nodding to the basketball player's iconic phrase.
The Jordan Zion 2 Pelicans is scheduled to release on November 17th, 2022, in men's, gradeschool, pre-school, and toddler sizing for $120, $90, $75, and $55, respectively. Expected to be available at Nike as well as at select Jordan Brand retailers worldwide, both online and in-store.
