Vault By Vans And JSP Come Together For A Third Collaborative Pack Of Sneakers

Jimmy Gorecki has a storied career in both the fashion and skating worlds. From working with Pharrell Williams through the ICECREAM skating team and his two labels Standard Issue Tees and JSP, the multi-faceted designer has also had the pleasure of teaming up with some of the footwear industry's biggest names - Vans included. For JSP and Vault By Vans’ third collaborative project, two silhouettes and three colorways were produced under the theme of “I Love My JSP Vans.”
In the press release for this project, Jimmy Gorecki stated “our goal is to reflect feelings of familiarity and take new materials and design details like the reflective elements, a nostalgic nylon, super soft suede and continue to evolve the classic styles we grew up shredding in to make a design that reads both rich and rugged and with a whole lot of love that you’ll feel all the way to your sole.”
This vision is nailed properly as the Old Skool VLT LX (which comes in a Kelly Green and Black colorway) features a pigskin suede upper, nylon overlays, and a two-tone color palette that oozes vintage vibes. Overt branding details take over the sidewall of the midsole with the phrase “I Love My JSP Vans” spelled out multiple times throughout while this same phrase also appears below the translucent rubber outsole. Not only does Jimmy’s design language take over Old Skool, but a Sk8-Hi is included in this pack as well with it coming in tonal shades of blue across its upper. The same materials found on the Old Skool land here on the Sk8-Hi as do the overt branding details on the sole unit.
The JSP x Vans I Love My JSP Vans Pack is set to release on February 15th, 2023 through standardissuetees.com. Releasing in men’s sizing, the two Old Skool VLT LXs will retail for $115 while the Sk8-Hi VLT LX will be priced at $130.
