As if that wasn't already enough, the Japanese sportswear company has now added KASSL Editions to its style-conscious roster with the KASSL Editions x Asics GEL-Nimbus 9 "Black" - and here's everything that you need to know.
Marking the duo's second project together, KASSL Editions' take on the retro runner is painted in a seriously stealthy black color scheme. Each pair is dipped in a vat of melted rubber, which solidifies the entire sneaker. This means that no two pairs will look exactly the same. The result is a gloriously glossy finish that consumes everything apart from the mesh toebox, tongue branding, heel, and outsole. This unique method has never been used on a pair of shoes before, so naturally, they're going to be pretty limited. In fact, only 150 pairs of these GEL-Nimbus 9s will be made, making them one of the most exclusive Asics collaborations of all time.
Releasing on December 1st, 2022, the KASSL Editions x Asics GEL-Nimbus 9 Black will drop in men's sizes with a retail price yet TBA.
