The Brooklyn-based art collective MSCHF has been turning heads in the sneaker world with unconventional and often controversial shoe drops. Following the ultra-viral Big Red Boots and the Big Yellow Boot with Crocs, they're set to team up with Kid Cudi. Previously Cudi was signed with adidas. His recent showcase of the Air Jordan 1 Utility "Prowler" indicates his partnership with The Three Stripes may be over.
Kid Cudi’s rendition of the MSCHF Super Normal 2 sports a flamboyant design. The upper is covered in a colorful red, blue, purple, and pink fleece patchwork. Blue beads punctuate the fleece-covered upper near the toe and midfoot, bringing an unexpected tactile element to the sneaker. A seersucker pattern adorns the multi-color lace set, adding a playful touch to the overall design. Prominent MSCHF branding is displayed on the tongue and heel. The shoe sits on a grey midsole emblazoned with pink MSCHF branding near the heel. A sky-blue outsole ties the vibrant design together.
The Kid Cudi x MSCHF Super Normal 2 Insano will release on September 7, 2023 exclusively via a raffle on MSCHF's website and Sneakers App. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $170. Keep it locked to our Twitter and the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
