Lamont Roach Jr. Gets Custom Air Jordan 4 Boxing Boots For His Fight Against Gervonta Davis

On Saturday night, Lamont Roach Jr. and Gervonta Davis entered the squared circle in a highly anticipated matchup that, unfortunately, resulted in a majority draw. While fans may be disappointed by the match's result, sneakerheads noticed the custom footwear worn by Roach Jr., which was hand-made by Dennis Michael Velliquette from The Source Design Kings (TSDK).
Standard boxing boots were reconstructed to resemble the Air Jordan 4, as we can see classic details like the midfoot cage, wing eyelets, and Jumpman-laden heel tab in the design. As for its color palette and the custom graphics across the upper, Roach Jr. tasked designer Mowalola, who also worked on his boxing attire for the match. Here, we can see various graffiti patterns and graphics applied.
