Lewis Hamilton has had an amazing last few weeks. The F1 superstar clinched his first victory since 2021, won his ninth British Grand Prix overall, and became the first driver to win a race past their 300th start. Before Hamilton jumps from Mercedes to Ferrari in 2025, he entered a partnership with luxury fashion house Dior as the brand’s latest ambassador. Hamilton's collaboration with Dior brings a fresh perspective to the luxury fashion house, thanks to his close relationship with Dior's creative director, Kim Jones, who previously worked with Travis Scott on collaborative capsules. WWD first reported news of this partnership.
As a practicing vegan, Hamilton has ensured that his clothing and sneaker capsule collection is crafted from vegan materials. Inspired by snow sports like skiing and snowboarding, the collection includes two footwear models: the B44 Blade and the Snow Derby. The B44 Blade features a mesh runner-inspired upper, enhanced by gradient color palettes applied across the synthetic and mesh layers, creating a visually striking design. Meanwhile, the Snow sneaker draws direct inspiration from snowboarding boots. This model boasts a chunky, thick exterior with a layered construction atop a mesh base, designed to mimic the robust build of traditional snowboarding footwear.
The Lewis Hamilton x Dior Collection will release on October 17, 2024, through Dior online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, the Snow Derby retails for $1,550 and the B44 Blade for $1,400.
