Thanks to Yeezy and their Foam RNNR model, the demand for foam clog-like silhouettes has skyrocketed and the people over at Crocs have capitalized on this. Collab after collab has rolled in, ranging from superstars like Post Malone to iconic cereals like Lucky Charms and Cinnamon Toast Crunch. They have even delved into the high fashion world with their infamous Balenciaga collection, though their latest collaborator, MASTERMIND, may not be of Parisian descent, the Japanese high-end fashion label brings a mix of luxury and comfort to their upcoming Crocs collaboration.
Launching in two colorways, an all-black and black/white combo, the silhouette receives very little change apart from the included Jibbitz. The one-piece foam Classic Clog keeps its perforations along the sidewall on the toe and toebox while the skull and bones logo of MASTERMIND fills in varying perforations. The all-black look keeps this shade throughout, sans the aforementioned skull and bones while the black/white look adds both colors to the strap with MASTERMIND text taking over the rear. Internally, the footbed gets a textured finish allowing a more stable grip when on foot. Underfoot, the bottom half of the black/white colorway gets dressed in the accenting white shade while the all-black keeps things dark to finish off the colorway.
The MASTERMIND x Crocs Classic Clog in both colorways are set to release on July 15th through Crocs and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is TBA.
