MiLaysia Fulwiley Debuts Under Armour Curry 12 FamLay PE

Steph Curry’s Curry Brand, an imprint of Under Armour, recently made news with the signing of Davion Mitchell and Quincy Olivari, expanding its reach in the NBA. However, the label has also worked outside the professional landscape by signing NIL deals with athletes in college, including USC women’s basketball star MiLaysia Fulwiley. During the Gamecocks’ game against the University of Texas on Sunday, Fulwiley debuted her first Under Armour Curry PE sneaker, the Under Armour Curry 12 FamLay.
Inspired by Milaysia’s favorite colors, red and gold, the silhouette combines these hues with South Carolina’s garnet and black color palette to create a color palette not seen on the Curry 12 before. Starting at the toe is a vibrant red that transitions into USC’s garnet red near the heel, spilling into the insole, which contains a graphic of the state of South Carolina and the 803 area code of Columbia. This same graphic is also applied to the tongue patch.

Other personal details for Fulwiley are found on the heel, with her maiden name, Mixon, on the right heel tab and her mom and sisters’ first initials, JPZ, on the left. Down below, Curry Brand coats the UA Flow midsole in a cream finish, while the black TPU plug features an Ace of Spades and star symbols for her two dogs, Ace and Star. The tonal cream UA Flow outsole finishes the sneaker.
MiLaysia Fulwiley’s Under Armour Curry 12 FamLay PE will remain exclusive to the USC star. Check below for detailed images of the pair, and download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
