The MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon Spring 2025 Collection Releases April 2025

Numerous partners have elevated Salomon's technically-focused footwear designs, but none have done it to the degree that MM6 Maison Margiela has. The two French-based labels first teamed up at the end of 2022 and have since released capsule collections throughout the year, converting some of Salomon’s most well-known designs into a mule and Mary Jane slip-ons. For Spring 2025, the trend continues with MM6 Maison Margiela bringing forth their take on the Spectur 2 and the XT-4 Mule.

Starting with the Spectur 2, a silhouette new to the MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon universe, the performance runner is updated in a sleek black color scheme with upgraded materials and branding details. A single mesh layer is used on the upper, reinforced with fused TPU and synthetic leather. MM6’s calendar-like logo appears on the lateral toe, heel, and insole, while the rest of the sneaker sticks to traditional Salomon branding. Finishing the design is the tonal foam midsole and rubber outsole.

MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon XT-4 Mule Ultramarine

The XT-4 Mule, a model first released during the Spring/Summer 2024 Collection, appears in a new Ultramarine colorway. The mesh-based upper is dipped in this blue hue, contrasted by tonal brown hits on the synthetic overlay along the toe and the nylon lace loops. Branding details follow the blueprint of previous MM6 Maison Margiela collabs on the XT-4 Mule, adding the French fashion houses’ logos on the toe, insole, and tongue.

The MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon Spring 2025 Collection will roll out in two phases. The first release, which includes the two previewed sneakers, will take place on April 17, 2025. A second drop on May 8 will feature the Spectur 2 and XT-4 Mule in Sea Foam Green and White Beige Haze. Both shoes and apparel will be released through MM6 Maison Margiela, Salomon, and select retailers.
