Mookie Betts Wears Nigel Sylvester’s Air Jordan 4 Brick by Brick Cleat on MLB Opening Day
Published
Nigel Sylvester’s first collaboration on the Air Jordan 4 has taken the sneaker world and social media by storm. Earlier this month, the rollout ahead of the launch included multiple celebrities, including LeBron James, Kai Cenat, Roman Reigns, and Travis Kelce, all sporting the pair early, and it seemed that every scroll and refresh on socials was another person praising the sneaker. Even past the official release, the early contender for sneaker of the year is making headlines once again as Nigel gifted a special cleated version of the Brick by Brick Air Jordan 4 to Los Angeles Dodgers star Mookie Betts to wear on Opening Day.
During the game, Mookie went 1-for-3, hitting a single and drawing a walk, though the highlight was the Brick by Bricks on his feet. Even though it was retooled for the diamond, featuring MCS cleats, the upper retains the now-iconic brick red finish and premium suede detailing. Of course, the brick-textured mudguard remains, as does the mini Swoosh in white and the white Bike Air logo on the heel tab.
Unfortunately for baseball players not named Mookie Betts, the cleated version of the Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 Brick by Brick will not be released to the public.
