The unconventional and unexpected is MSCHF's trademark, and the Brooklyn-based art collective has turned footwear into massive conversations on multiple occasions. This time around, MSCHF teams up with Crocs to bring out a fresh spin on the extremely viral Big Red Boots, switching the color palette to an all-yellow scheme while incorporating some of the Classic Clog's distinct features.
Sitting along the runway dressed as a mime, Tommy Cash debuted this unlikely collaboration during Paris Fashion Week. Seen on his feet, this reworked version of the Big Yellow Boot flaunts the trademark perforations found on Crocs' clogs. More Crocs' design elements are present through a co-branded "sports mode" strap.
While MSCHF doesn't always ask for permission to borrow from other brands, occasionally landing it in court, we can confirm that this is an official collaboration.
The Crocs x MSCHF Big Yellow Boot Trypophobia will release August 9 exclusively through MSCHF’s Sneakers App. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $450. Keep it locked to our Twitter and the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
