Foot Locker is Launching Three Exclusive Colorways of the New Balance 1000

It’s been said repeatedly, but New Balance has truly mastered the art of the revival. While many brands in the footwear world hope to reenergize categories and hop on trends as they become hot, New Balance has been setting an example for the rest of the industry. One of these successful revivals is the New Balance 1000, which emerged from the vault after being dead for over 20 years. Its latest round of inline colorways will be exclusive to Foot Locker, who has teamed up with New Balance and NB ambassadors Eladio Carrión and Darkoo to promote the new Navy and Mineral Sea Salt colorways.
Eladio is rocking the men’s Navy colorway, which opts for an updated construction compared to most New Balance 1000s. The base layer has a ripstop netted mesh finish, while the overlays are split between leather and suede. On the bottom half of the upper, we see a dark navy suede, divided from the light grey leather and mesh on the top half via a light blue ripstop base layer. Further accents are found on the orange branding details, dark grey midsole, and black outsole.

Moving to the ladies' colorway, modeled by Darkoo, we see the same construction with suede, ripstop mesh, and leather alongside a two-tone-like color palette. Lighter tones are present throughout, accented by pops of color on the New Balance branding details. A notable feature found on both pairs is the exclusion of the leather strip on the tongue, changing the look of the entire tongue and lacing setup. On top of this women's pair, there is a kids' exclusive colorway in a somewhat similar color palette that swaps out the accenting pops of orange for lilac.
The three new Foot Locker-exclusive New Balance 1000 colorways will launch on February 20, 2025, through Foot Locker online and in-store. Available in various sizes, the retail price for the adult pairs is set at $150 and $105 for the GS pair.
