New Balance's Made in UK line has been around for decades. One of the key models is the New Balance 1500, which comes from Flimby, UK. The sneaker celebrates its 35th birthday in 2024. The Steven Smith-designed sneaker is now getting a vibrant Blood Orange makeover. Earlier this year, New Balance dropped a 35th Anniversary colorway of the 1500.
The New Balance 1500 Made in UK Blood Orange features an exquisite blend of premium materials, including pigskin suede, full-grain leather, and breathable mesh. The vibrant blood-orange suede overlays provide a bold contrast against the black mesh at the toe and the luxurious black leather at the collar and tongue. Blue leather accents the vamp and toebox overlay, adding a touch of elegance and enriching the sneaker's visual appeal. This model is rounded out with grey laces and classic white New Balance branding that adorns the tongue, midfoot, and heel. Below, a cream foam midsole offers superior comfort and support, paired with a durable black and grey outsole that ensures lasting wear.
The New Balance 1500 Made in UK Blood Orange will release on May 9, 2024, through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $230.
