As New Balance marks the 35th anniversary of one of its signature styles, the Made in UK New Balance 1500, a fresh Green Oasis colorway, is set to release, joining its Blood Orange counterpart in a vibrant two-pack celebration. Crafted in the brand's Flimby factory, the Steven Smith-designed New Balance 1500 has remained a fixture in the world of quality footwear, known for its rich history and exceptional craftsmanship.
The Green Oasis iteration of the New Balance 1500 showcases a lush arrangement of premium materials, including pigskin suede, breathable mesh, and robust full-grain leather. The sneaker features striking green suede across the mudguard, midfoot panel, and heel, complemented by black mesh at the toe and black leather around the collar for a sophisticated contrast. Further enhancing the design, purple leather adorns the vamp and toebox overlays, while the branding on the sneaker, including the iconic N logo and 1500 text, pops in clean white. The design is completed with a cream midsole paired with a black and grey outsole, offering comfort and durability.
The New Balance 1500 Made in UK Green Oasis will release on May 9, 2024, through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $230.
